Google has apparently accidentally posted Dogfood version of Personal Safety app v.2023.04.27.532191641.8-dogfood, which contains a hidden ‘Dashcam’ feature.
Your phone will record video for up to 24 hours, the recording can be interrupted at any time. While recording, you can continue to use your phone, or lock it to save power.
The average video size will be 30MB per minute. Unsaved videos will be automatically deleted after a configurable retention period (1 day, 3 days, 1 week).
You will also be able to automatically set the recording to start when connected to your car’s Bluetooth system and choose whether or not to record audio.
