The latest version of the app, numbered 2023.22.1-537255951, has a new hidden flag, “Gm3Widget_Enabled”, which, when activated, gives widgets a complete Material You design.
At the same time, this design has been drawn for some time, as Google itself demonstrated it on its blog in the same October 2021.
