Samsung scores record pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold8

The pre-order campaign has already been incredibly successful in India, as Samsung has today revealed that it has taken record numbers of pre-orders for the lineup – 271,000 within the first 72 hours, to be exact. Last year, it took 15 days to reach the same number of pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7. 45% of pre-orders for the Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 were from Tier 2 cities and below, which Samsung thinks signifies "massive.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 series just gained a useful screen trick I hope Google copies Samsung is taking the pain out of screen orientation on Fold devices.
