We examined whether serum leucine-rich α2-glycoprotein-1 (LRG1) is increased in computed tomography angiography-confirmed acute mesenteric ischaemia and whether it shows exploratory mortality discrimination.

This single-centre case-control study included 25 adults with acute mesenteric ischaemia and 25 non-acute volunteer controls.
