Motorola’s Signature, its current flagship smartphone, came out in January, and now the company is almost ready to reveal its successor, the Signature 27. Motorola started teasing the upcoming device earlier this month, and today it announced its unveiling date: September 22. That is also when Qualcomm should unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipsets, during its Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii.

Whether that means it will get a full unveiling or just a tease remains to be seen. As you can see in the video above, the Signature 27 will come in Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive colors, and Motorola is also telling us to expect some interesting materials to be used.

That made the companyโ€™s recent Signature 27 teaser on its US website especially interesting, and Motorola followed it this week by confirming a September 22 reveal. Now, less than 24 hours later, Moto has dropped its clearest clue yet about what will power the phone.

In a new post on X, Motorola says thereโ€™s โ€œmore to discoverโ€ with Motorola and Snapdragon, inviting followers to โ€œsee for yourselfโ€ on September 22.
