The Signature 27 lands stateside later this year with flagship ambitions. Motorola is finally bringing its true flagship with Snapdragon to the US. The phone is coming this November, though Motorola hasn’t announced the price yet.

Early pre-order access registration is already open in the US. Motorola’s first Signature phone felt like the kind of flagship the US Android market could really use. It had premium hardware, long software support, and a serious camera setup, except Motorola never actually sold it here.

That omission made the Signature 27 teasers on Motorola’s US channels especially interesting. Now that the phone has officially been unveiled, there’s no more guessing.

Motorola saw what Poco (and, before it, Redmi in China) did with Bose, and thought it wanted some of that co-branded audio action too. But it also stepped it up – all the way up to Bang & Olufsen’s level.

The brands promise to "create experiences in which sound is not simply a feature, but an intentional and integral part of the product experience".

The Signature 27 will have audio tuned by B&O’s acoustic engineers, and the integration will "deepen across audio technologies, sound modes, new user experiences and an expanded ecosystem for future launches", whatever that means. Motorola says this partnership reinforces its lifestyle-tech chops.
