The largest Googlebook is actually cheaper than first claimed. Lenovo’s first Googlebook will cost less than you (and Google) thought. The new laptop actually starts at $1,099.99 rather than Google’s claimed $1,299 price tag.

Expect a 15.3-inch OLED screen, an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 chip, at least 16GB of RAM, and at least 256GB of storage. Google announced at its Googlebook launch last week that the Lenovo Googlebook 15 would be one of five models available in the first wave. The search giant also said that the device would start at $1,299.

The veteran computer maker announced that the Lenovo Googlebook 15 will actually start at $1,099.99 when it goes on sale on October 4. That means it’s $200 cheaper than Google’s disclosed pricing.
