No more workarounds needed! Google says those frustrating Photos freezes are finally fixed. Google shared some workarounds, while confirming that a fix was in development.
Google now tells that the fix is ready, and impacted users should update their Photos app. What’s your least favorite way for an app to misbehave. Or shutting down and refusing to do anything at all.
Last week, we shared word of an annoying Google Photos bug that definitely fell into that latter category, and today we’re already hearing about its resolution. Impacted users discovered that after they interacted with the app’s editing tools, Photos would just freeze up on them, preventing them from taking further action: Google followed up with us to share some steps users could take as a work-around, while also confirming that work on a proper fix was under development.
