The update fixes 90 security issues but does not include the stable version of One UI 9.0 based on Android 17. The update is around 450MB for the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra, and 438MB for the S24 FE.
Unfortunately, if you’ve been waiting for stable One UI 9 on these devices, you’re still out of luck. While Samsung has already started rolling out One UI 9 beta updates to the Galaxy S24 series, the stable release remains pending. The latest update comes just in time for the month’s end and brings the September 2026 security patch to the Galaxy S24 series, addressing 90 security issues.
