The iPhone Duo could make Android foldables much better. I hate when Android brands copy Apple — but the iPhone Duo is the exception. Apple officially unveiled its first foldable iPhone at its September launch event, and while we’ll have to wait until later this month to actually get our hands on one, Apple entering a new category with a particular direction in mind usually means one thing: Android brands are about to follow.
I’ve been pretty critical of Android OEMs over the past few years for blindly copying Apple’s strategies and bringing them to their own products. It often makes Android phones feel less interesting, less innovative, and, to be honest, sometimes just annoying. But the iPhone Duo has put me in a slightly strange position.
I actually wouldn’t mind Android brands copying Apple. 2 votes Yes, absolutely 0 % Copy it, then improve it 0 % Android already did it better 50 % Please stop copying Apple 50 % We all know what’s going to happen next Whenever Apple launches a new product or takes a slightly different direction, Android brands usually tend to follow.

That would make the Find X10 €500 more expensive than last year’s equivalent Find X9 configuration. OPPO is reportedly planning launch discounts and freebies, with the phones expected in Europe on October 21.
Last month, OPPO gave us plenty of reasons to want the Find X10 Pro Max outside China. Three 200MP rear cameras, an 8,000mAh battery, and MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9600 Pro sounded even better when prices started at CNY 6,799 (~$1,006).
Unfortunately, anyone hoping the global model would remain anywhere near that affordable may want to look away now. According to Dealabs, the Find X10 Pro Max will cost a whopping €1,799 (~$2,023) in France when it arrives in Europe.
