Apple released an emergency carrier bundle update for iPhone 18 Pro Max units on AT&T running iOS 27.2 beta. The update has version 72.0.3 and comes a week after Apple released carrier update 72.1 for iOS 27.0 users, while devices running iOS 27.2 beta remained on 72.0.2.

IPhones that had already lost service still required a hardware replacement. The iPhone 18 Pro hasn’t been affected by this network issue because it uses Apple’s C2 modem, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max uses a Qualcomm modem in the US.
