New Lensless Camera That Generates Photos Using AI

Bjørn Karmann, a Dutch designer and enthusiast has unveiled an innovative Paragraphica camera — a lensless context-to-image camera that uses location data and artificial intelligence of StableDiffusion neural network to visualize a “photo” of a specific place and moment.

There is no lens or viewfinder in the camera. All photos are generated by Stable Diffusion AI from the prompt based on user’s geodata.

Interestingly the photos do capture some reminiscent moods and emotions from the place but in an uncanny way, as the photos never really look exactly like where you are.
