You can try Google Vids without paying a cent. Google’s Omni video generator is now free to try in Vids. Users will be able to generate 1080p videos with Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash at no cost.
Google will soon roll out Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite text-to-speech in Vids for voiceovers. When Google Vids rolled out in 2024, it was initially intended as a tool for professionals. Even as access expanded beyond Gemini for Workspace customers, the AI-powered video generator remained locked behind Google’s subscription plans.
Google has been a little more generous in recent months, giving free users a taste earlier this year. Now the company is opening the door for everyone to use Vids with its latest video generation model.
