The earbuds will have seven replaceable and modular parts. Fairphone, the Dutch electronics manufacturer best known for its repairable devices, will be launching new earbuds later this year. Through a leak from a couple of weeks ago, we got a little taste of what’s coming our way.

Now, the company revealed new details about the Fairbuds 2. Speaking to The Verge, Fairphone revealed when it will launch the Fairbuds sequel. According to the report, the full reveal is scheduled for October 14, 2026.

Last week, RedMagic revealed that it would be launching the RedMagic 12 Pro+ in October, while also showing some bits of the phone’s design. Now, the brand has finally confirmed the exact launch date for its next flagship device: October 15.

The event will be held by the company at 2:30 PM local time in China. The phone will unsurprisingly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC, and RedMagic promises that it’s applied its "first-class tuning" for a significantly improved gaming experience with better visuals.
