Price alert: Samsung raises the prices of Galaxy S26 phones

We live in Opposite World – half a year after new phones launch, the manufacturer is typically expected to reduce prices. Instead, Samsung just raised the prices of Galaxy S26 series phones by at least $100 (it’s $200 in the case of the 1TB S26 Ultra). And it’s not just the US that was affected.

We went through the online stores of several regional divisions of Samsung.com to check how much a new S26 costs. What we found is that the US, Canada, the UK, mainland Europe and India are all showing higher prices. We didn’t check every region, but if any haven’t raised their prices yet, they…

Here is how much the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra cost now compared to when they launched.

An iterative upgrade once again for Samsung’s laptop-sized tablet line. Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra vs Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra: The difference one year can make.

All models of the Galaxy S26 series are now pricier by $100, while the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra sees an even larger increase. The Galaxy S26 price increase we were dreading is here.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is getting a price bump. While 256GB and 512GB variants have seen a $100 price increase in the US, the 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra model costs $200 more.

News Mobile Tablets Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra vs Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra: The difference one year can make An iterative upgrade once again for Samsung’s laptop-sized tablet line. The biggest and baddest of Samsung’s Android tablets is still a comically large and impossibly thin slab of glass, still rocking a 14.6" AMOLED display to make it a media consumption and productivity powerhouse.

While we’re still seeing some online listings that show the older price tag, that may not last long. The global shortage of memory components has widely impacted the tech industry.

We recently came across a report suggesting Samsung was about to raise the price of the Galaxy S26 series on October 1. With the day finally here, the manufacturer has officially increased the prices of the Galaxy S26 series in the US and South Korea.

It’s an iterative update from Samsung, in other words, which has been the case with every tablet in its oversized, top-end lineup. But why mess with a working formula after this many refinements.

Aside from removing the ability to remote control your tablet with an S Pen, which was not brought back this time around, the Tab S11 Ultra changed very little compared to the Tab S10 Ultra, and the new Tab S12 Ultra doesn’t even look that different from the original Tab S8 Ultra released over four years ago. Tablets are tablets, and it’s mostly what’s under the hood that makes this year’s upgrade worth examining.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra’s modest processor upgrade comes with a massive price hike Samsung The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra’s laptop-sized display is once again interrupted only by a teardrop camera cutout for its single, ultra-wide lens — a serviceable selfie and video call camera at 12 megapixels. As for the display itself, it’s a 2,960 by 1,848 pixel Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, just like every other tablet before it in this lineup including the S11 Ultra.

We’ve also included the prices of their Galaxy S25 series counterparts since the S26 models already started with a price hike (which varied from region to region). The prices of the Galaxy S26 FE have not been affected, however.
