Google is working on the Fitbit Edge fitness tracker, which was first leaked by Google itself in some official promotional material back in August. Yesterday, its name was outed along with some renders showing it in more detail. Today a new leak tells us that the Fitbit Edge will cost €179 in the Eurozone, and £159 in the UK.

It will be offered in four colors, which incidentally are the same as the ones in which the Pixel Watch 5 is available: Obsidian & Matte Black, Olive & Satin Pyrite, Canyon & Champagne Gold, and Fog & Polished Silver. The device will allegedly have a 1.34-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyroscope, a heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, ECG sensors, an ambient light sensor, and a step counter. It will track your steps, heart rate, distance, calories burned, sleep, menstrual cycle, SpO2, skin temperature, ECG, and will detect atrial fibrillation, irregular heart rhythms, cardiac load, your fitness level, and VO2 max.

Google Home is having a weird, specific issue today. As pointed out on Reddit, Home is having trouble controlling the color of connected smart lights.

You may have to download the Gallery app from Google Play, but you can have both on your phone and just use one or the other when you want to. Photos has cloud backup, Gallery doesn’t One of the most important differences between the two apps is that Photos can automatically back up your images to the cloud, whereas Gallery can’t.

The issue is affecting lights from multiple manufacturers. According a post on the Google Home subeddit by user baddebate, Google Home is unable to change the colors of their smart lights.

You can switch on automatic backup in Photos by tapping on your avatar at the top right corner of the screen and then Backup, where you can toggle on the option.
